Wait, Can I Accept This?!

“ A series that was part of my Senior Show Exhibition talking about the moments in which I question whether I can accept this other version of myself. The process of making this series was a learning experience, but fun at the same time. I learned that it isn’t easy making 16 masks and later un-molding them from the plaster molds. It taught me patience throughout the entire process, and also it showed me how each of the masks was different and never the same. Touching back on the point of the masks never being the same, I want to point out that the series touches on the moments when I questioned if I want to accept this version of myself, knowing it was different then the one before not to mention the moment in which I questioned myself (environment, atmosphere, etc) also wasn’t the same.”
